Assuming Brian Brohm and Curtis Painter play most of the game and the weather is not very good, expect a low scoring game. The Bills weakness is pass defense and with the Colts resting starters this should not be a big deal. The Bills are expected to run the ball well against the 2nd and 3rd string Colts defense. Fred Jackson and Marshawn Lynch have a 67 percent chance of rushing for over 4.5 yards per carry and if they do the Bills have a 85 percent chance of winning. If the Colts can hold them to under 4.0 ypc they have a 49 percent chance and this game could be an exciting, albeit meaningless game.

Carolina Panthers vs Buffalo Bills Game Overview

Carolina has won two in a row despite Jake Delhomme continuing to throw interceptions at an alarming rate. The Bills upset the Jets thanks to 6 INTs. If Delhomme throws 2+ INTs (40 percent chance) the Bills have a 54 percent chance. If Delhomme throws no more than 1 INT their running game should produce enough for Carolina to win (80 percent if Delhomme is under 2 INTs). The Bills run defense was weak before injuries to several starting LBs and the Jets demolished their run defense. The Panthers will look for DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart to duplicate the Jets success. If these two combine for 180+ rushing yards the Panthers can dominate winning 92 percent, but if Buffalo can at least contain them (under 140 yards) they can capitalize on Delhomme interceptions and the Bills have a 75 percent chance of winning.
